Don't Breath is a movie starring Jane Levy, Dylan Minnette, Stephen Lang, and Daniel Zovatto. It's a horror movie directed by Fede Alvarez. The movie was also written by Alvarez with Rodo Sayagues. This film centers on three friends who break into a blind man's house where they become trapped.
Hands of Stone is based on Roberto Duran, a boxing professional who started his career in 1968. He started boxing at the very young age of 16 and only stepped out of the boxing industry in 2001 when he was 49 years old. Hands of Stone narrates how Duran defeated Sugar Ray Leonard in June 1980. Duran then won the WBC welterweight title leading to the story's highlight when he surprised the entire industry with his come back to fight a rematch.
Don't Breath is one of the most recent films released in America. Tirdad Derakhshani of the Philadelphia Inquirer particularly stated that it's one of the most suspenseful and original horror movies that he can remember. Amy Nicholson of MTV commended the director, Alvarez, for writing such a great story.
Elise Nakhnikian of Slant Magazine rated Hands of Stone as 'rotten'. She thinks the Panamanian-born Roberto Duran's story could potentially make it big on the big screen but she does not think Hands of Stone made it. Meanwhile, John Anderson of the Wall Street Journal thinks it should be rated 'fresh'. He stressed that the film was able to highlight the subtlety and brutality of Roberto Duran's role in the story.
