Don’t be Jet Lagged

Those long haul flights and travelling along different time zones can leave you extremely tired and who wants that on a vacation? While there is no way to avoid it, especially if you are travelling internationally, there are ways to deal with it so that your body can acclimatize to the new time zone and enjoy the vacation.
Here are some tips to make you feel less tired after a long flight.
Sleep earlier
When you are travelling, take as much sleep as possible before you leave. This is the best to way to keep your body well rested and ready to deal with the tiring journey that lay ahead of you. Many people feel jet lagged because of dehydration, so you are advised to avoid alcohol, coffee and tea while onboard.
Don’t overeat on your flight
When you are travelling, do not overeat as you will end up feeling nauseated as you get off the plane. It is better to eat healthy and light. Also at the destination, avoid eating exotic foods on the first few days of your holiday. Use your vital energy to get used to new environment rather than digesting your food.
Do small stretching exercise
You can get rid of common problems like a backache or swollen legs that you experience because of sitting for long hours. It is highly recommended to regulate the blood flow and to prevent any blood clots from forming.
Take proper rest
When you arrive at your destination, don’t try to overwork yourself in excitement. Always first take proper rest and let your body adjust to the change in weather, time zone and the surroundings before subjecting yourself to extreme activities.
